The asphalt is as flat as the sea on a windless day, the markings as creative as modern art – but hey, who needs straight lines when you're walking barefoot to the beach? The proximity to the water is unbeatable: a 2-minute walk if you don't get distracted by the chip shop. And the seagulls reliably act as the car alarm. Price-wise? Well, let's just say: cheaper than a parking ticket! I'll be back – my car loves it here.

Free parking is available near the beach. It can be crowded at times, but then you can park for free in the nearby streets. A path leads through the dunes or onto a paved bike path. There's also a designated bridle path to the beach. The beach is very pleasant, almost deserted compared to Scheveningen.
